He's not saying that all Christians are for irresponsible breeding. He said, "the church (i.e. the RCC) would want all babies..."

I'm sure many jews would be surprised to learn that there is nothing immoral about fornication, and nothing wrong with bastardy.

Moses? What did he know?

In case you missed it, the couple in question is married, dumbass.

ETA - And your knowledge of ancient Jewish law regardling sex is as deficient as your knowledge of Catholic theology, the religion you purport to practice but obviously haven't taken the time to study. If you actually read the books of the Bible in question, you would see that Mosaic law forbade sex with another man's wife, sex with another man's slave, sex with a virgin, sex with a relative. Pretty much anything else was in bounds, including sex with prostitutes, whom Old Testament figures frequented often enough to get several mentions.

Well perhaps we misread this part:
According to court documents, it was at that meeting, which Mrs Herx attended with her husband and father
I thought it meant two people but you know . . . .

Frame of reference:

The Catholic Church teaches that sexuality is a gift from God and that sex – when used in the correct manner – is in fact a source of holiness and sanctification. The correct manner depends on three factors;

1. Between a man and a woman
2. Open to the transmission of new life
3. Within a valid marriage

Accordingly, the Church condemns fornication (sex between unmarried partners), adultery (sex with someone who is not your spouse), masturbation (deliberate stimulation of the genitals to gain sexual pleasure), anal and oral sex, homosexual sex, sex with multiple partners and contraception. The Church also condemns pornography, prostitution and any form of sexual activity which seeks to degrade the participants or weaken the marriage bond.

And she was single, not married.

Mrs. Herx and her husband were married. Read the fucking article before shooting off your stupid mouth.

So now perhaps you can explain what any of drivel you posted has to do with a married couple using IVF to have a child. The reason Mrs. Herx and her husband were given was that embryos are sometimes destroyed during the procedure. When Mrs. Herx and her husband provided assurances that no embryos would be destroyed in the process of trying to get them pregnant, she was fired anyway.

Someone in the business of selling 'forgiveness' has an interest in transforming acts which are, in human terms, inevitable into 'sins'.

And then not only forgiving but perpetuating child rape and the theft and sale of infants. Why have they not been run out of any decent country on earth?

A student adviser at a Christian college claims she was unfairly fired from her job for 'living in sin' with her boyfriend and because she struck up a friendship with a married co worker - who she shared donuts and coffee with in his car.

Ashlie Simpson, 31, was a student service adviser at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colorado, from September 2009 until January 2012 when she was terminated.

She is suing the college for privacy invasion, unlawful prohibition of legal activities and Family Medical Leave Act violations.

The 31-year-old told ABC: 'I was shocked to learn that CCU was concerned about my personal life, and even more distressed when they chose to fire me because of it.

'When they refused to discuss it further, I felt I had no choice but to take legal action.'

It all started in June 2010 when Miss Simpson was seen by coworkers sharing coffee and donuts during a break with the university's enrollment counselor Adam Kail in his car.

Later that day, she says, the college's vice president of development, Keith Writer, told her 'he was concerned about plaintiff's relationship with mr Kail, who was married'.

Upon investigation, three other colleagues said they had witnessed the pair 'laughing and joking' together. Mr Wright then deduced that Miss Simpson was a distraction to Adam Kail's marriage.

Simpson's attorney, Elwyn Schaefer, said this coffee break may have been the catalyst in a probe into Miss Simpson's private life and lifestyle by staff at the university.

'We believe she was penalized for her lifestyle, mainly living with her boyfriend,' she told ABC. 'We had attempted to approach [the university] prior to filing a lawsuit and were told the usual, that our case had no merit and they would defend it vigorously of course.'

The vice president of the college said that Simpson was a 'distraction to [the counselor's] marriage' and the 'perception of indiscretion and disregard for the sanctity of Christian marriage' would hinder her career progression at the university, the suit stated.

Miss Simpson denies any kind of relationship between she and Mr Kail other than that of two coworkers. She then complained about sexual harassment at the hands of Mr Wright but nothing was ever done about it.

who she shared donuts and coffee with in his car.
Well, that's how it starts...

Coffee and doughnuts today, champagne and oysters tomorrow....

Come to think of it, if having doughnuts and and coffee together in your car is a form of "living in sin", then there are an awful lot of cops who are in "living in sin" with their partners... :D

And was Mr. Kail disciplined for his allegedly improper friendship with Ms. Simpson? I'm guessing not, since he is a man and in the eyes of these narrow-minded fundamentalist sects, therefore can do no wrong.

I know, I know BigRR, expecting equality of responsibility between the sexes is silly, because, after-all, I'm just a silly girl and I expect the big strong smart man to protect me, even from myself.
