No according to anyone with above year 5 education in English. Your sources boil down to one dictionary link which you have shown you do not have the slightest understanding of the meaning of.loCAtek wrote:According to you, but my sources include more than just you

Careful there, Gob. Your natural generosity is an endearing quality. But don't let it run away with you.Gob wrote:... anyone with above year 5 education in English.

You're just being obstinate; the meaning is documented.

The meaning is documented as shown by you that profane = to debase.
The meaning is documented as shown by you that profane ≠ unworthy.
Which would you prefer Lo, to stop making yourself more of a despised arsehole here, or to do without the attention? Your choice.

Re: 'He drinks a liquid, falls into a deep sleep and dies'
In all fairness these misunderstandings of language usage that loCA is engaging in here would be - sadly, admittedly - all too commonly engaged in by the vast majority of Americans, I think.
Most Americans don't have a terrific grasp of grammar or proper English usage.

I'm sure that most, having had their error explained to them at least five times in succession, would at least attempt to rectify their errors.

Well yes, the obstinacy is pure loCAtek.

Re: 'He drinks a liquid, falls into a deep sleep and dies'
"Obstinacy" is a polite way of putting it, "desperation for attention" would be more accurate.

“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

I have not laughed so much in ages. Lo, get a grip. What you are saying amounts to "something is either holy or worthless". Can't you see the ignorance of that?
If a man speaks in the forest and there are no women around to hear is he still wrong?

??
It depends on what you mean by 'holy'. If you are saying that 'things which are true are holy' then it makes perfect sense.

Re: 'He drinks a liquid, falls into a deep sleep and dies'
This is about 'holy' in the strictly religious sense. The words used were in fact 'sacred' and 'worthless'.
In this context it makes about as much sense as Birmingham.
