No according to anyone with above year 5 education in English. Your sources boil down to one dictionary link which you have shown you do not have the slightest understanding of the meaning of.

Careful there, Gob. Your natural generosity is an endearing quality. But don't let it run away with you.

You're just being obstinate; the meaning is documented.

Ignore that if you want.

The meaning is documented as shown by you that profane = to debase.

The meaning is documented as shown by you that profane ≠ unworthy.

Which would you prefer Lo, to stop making yourself more of a despised arsehole here, or to do without the attention? Your choice.

Can't she go for both?

Isn't there a special prize for that?

In all fairness these misunderstandings of language usage that loCA is engaging in here would be - sadly, admittedly - all too commonly engaged in by the vast majority of Americans, I think.

Most Americans don't have a terrific grasp of grammar or proper English usage.

I'm sure that most, having had their error explained to them at least five times in succession, would at least attempt to rectify their errors.

"Obstinacy" is a polite way of putting it, "desperation for attention" would be more accurate. ;)

No, I keep finding it on dictionary.com

www.merriam-webster.com

www.yourdictionary.com

dictionary.reverso.net

thinkexist.com

etc.

...that profane is defined as unworthy.

Miriam Webster;
pro·fanedpro·fan·ing
Definition of PROFANE
transitive verb

: to treat (something sacred) with abuse, irreverence, or contempt : desecrate
2 : to debase by a wrong, unworthy, or vulgar use
Exactly the same as has been pointed out to the attention whore so many times, profane = to debase.

Your dictionary
pro·fane (prō fān′, prə-)

adjective

not connected with religion or religious matters; secular: profane art
not initiated into the inner mysteries or esoteric knowledge of something
not hallowed or consecrated
showing disrespect or contempt for sacred things; irreverent

transitive verb profaned -·faned′, profaning -·fan′·ing

to treat (sacred things) with irreverence or contempt; desecrate
to put to a base or improper use; debase; defile
Does not mention profane = unworthy. So she's even lying about it now.

You seem surprised...

Bare-faced lies for when a pickaxe just won't do.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Just to add and be fair, I missed this.

"Your dictionary", lower down the page has;
pro·fane (prō-fānˈ, prə-)
adjective

Marked by contempt or irreverence for what is sacred.
Nonreligious in subject matter, form, or use; secular: sacred and profane music.
Not admitted into a body of secret knowledge or ritual; uninitiated.
Vulgar; coarse.

transitive verb profaned pro·faned, profaning pro·fan·ing, pro·fanes

To treat with irreverence: profane the name of God.
To put to an improper, unworthy, or degrading use; abuse.
Which doesn't prove me wrong of course.
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

I have not laughed so much in ages. Lo, get a grip. What you are saying amounts to "something is either holy or worthless". Can't you see the ignorance of that?

??

It depends on what you mean by 'holy'. If you are saying that 'things which are true are holy' then it makes perfect sense.

This is about 'holy' in the strictly religious sense. The words used were in fact 'sacred' and 'worthless'.

In this context it makes about as much sense as Birmingham.

Why do you hate loca so much? What is the point?

Is it just sharing hatred with others? Are you so pathetic and small as a person?
