That's kinda the point. :lol:

But seriously, there have been so many maps and so much fuss about security zones and street closures and travel restrictions and searches, etc., that the city is more bewildered than usual going into lock-down mode for Popefest. I had been planning to go for the Pope's speech on Independence Mall, but at this point my attitude is, as the map suggests, "Fuck that."

Good heavens! What is all this papal crap? Who gives a shit? If the A of C visited - who cares? If the D Lama visited - same thing. But we have to have wall to wall ring kissing just because this papal chap stops by? What is this fascination with the Roman church that turns this country batshit crazy?
