Hear that sucking sound?
Once again that's Bill draining the life out of any attempt at humour.

Am I the only one to complain about the Three Musketeers? There was four of them, and they always used swords rather than muskets.

In the context of Dumas' novel, musketeer means compadre, good friend, etc.
And it
was actually just 3 musketeers, because D'Artagnan didn't join the musketeers (also a name for soldiers of the French royal house) - he befriended three of them who were compadres.
But then there I go ruining attempted humor with facts, right?

It is hilarious! Some people wouldn't recognize humor if it was written in Plain English with a photo included.

Maybe just like a baker's dozen, a crusader's quartet always has one more member? A throwback to the days when one out of every five crusaders was killed by the infidels?
