I addition some of the parables extol intelligence--the parable of the 10 virgins extols or praises the "wise" ones who thought ahead and brought extra lamp oil, the parable of the men given money by the employer, extols the intelligence of the ones who sought to use it rather than just bury it away. Indeed, teaching by parable is a "praise" of intelligence precisely because it encourages the reader to learn by analysis and thought, not rote memorization. I'm sure there are others that I just do not recall.

You need to quit using that outsourced Middle Eastern-based tech support. They've switched your machine from Windows to Mashrabiya.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

From Wikipedia:
A mashrabiya (Arabic: مشربية‎), also either shanshūl (شنشول) or rūshān (روشان), is a type of projecting oriel window enclosed with carved wood latticework located on the second storey of a building or higher, often lined with stained glass. The mashrabiya is an element of traditional Arabic architecture used since the Middle Ages up to the mid-20th century. It is mostly used on the street side of the building; however, it may also be used internally on the sahn (courtyard) side.

Mashrabiyas were mostly used in houses and palaces although sometimes in public buildings such as hospitals, inns, schools and government buildings. They are found mostly in the Mashriq – i.e. the eastern part of the Arab world, but some types of similar windows are also found in the Maghreb (the western part of the Arab world). They are very prevalent in Iraq, the Levant, Hejaz and Egypt. They are mostly found in urban settings
In other words, Muslim "Windows".

Silly putty for windows is verboten
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Surely, it's not my stile. I never rail about such petty stuff.
