I bought two fresh baked pies from the local farm stand, one pumpkin one fruit of the forest - fantastic crusts, just like my gran used to make. Picked them up yesterday and ran over to Hannaford today for Haagen Dazs vanilla bean ice cream (best vanilla ice cream on the market and just five ingredients, no guar gum crap) to go with. We are happily blessed by pies this week at my house.

I thank the lord for laying the path to the pies.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
