Might be a good rule to always stay behind somebody who is carrying a shotgun, not just Cheney or Sec'y of Homeland Security Noem.

Just another day waking up and feeling like all things considered, Osama Bin Laden won.

What If JD Vance gets elected President for no other reason than that he’s infinitely memeable

In the news today: the pedophile previously known as prince.
A sufficiently copious dose of bombast drenched in verbose writing is lethal to the truth.

If your parents name you Colin but mispronounce it CO-lin . . .

is that worse than . . .

your parents calling you COL-in but misspell it Collin?

Too bad you can't ask Colin Powell.

His parents named him Colin, called him cah-lin and he pronounced his name coh-lin.

I suppose the cah-lin to be an accent thing rather than pronunciation - paahk the caah kind of thing. . But he was the one that came up with CO-lin, eh? (Or Coh-lin if you must). I wonder why.

Maybe he never heard of the millions of Col-ins through the centuries (including Col-in the Dachshund of course)

Google says this: "Powell adopted the "KOH-lin" pronunciation during his childhood in New York to honor World War II hero Captain Colin P. Kelly Jr."

I learn something new every day.

Thanks. So it was the other guy who didn't know how to pronounce Colin. But the question remains: is that worse than spelling Colin as Collin?
