However if the Brits are looking for a more rousing tune for their National Anthem, I think this would be a good one...(Lively, but somewhat more dignified than, "Rumpty-rupmty-rumpty-pom")
Of course the provenance of the piece might be somewhat problematic....
You might well think that; I couldn't possibly comment.

I believe that I still have that as my sig line over at The Chat House....
I'm a huge fan of "Black Comedy" and the three part Francis Urquhart series, House Of Cards, To Play The King and The Final Cut is probably my all time favorite....
The late Ian Richardson is just fabulous in the role of the sociopath who becomes Prime Minister...
A magnificent performance....
And Diane Fletcher, as the icy, amoral, equally psychotic "Lady MacBeth" Elizabeth Urquhart also gave a very impressive performance....
Richardson found the character so disturbing, that he refused to make the third installment, The Final Cut unless FU was killed off...
Several great scenes:
"I put a bit of stick about..."
"We are not please God, a nation of deserving cases..."
“My family came south with James I... We were defenders of the English throne before your family was ever heard of."
I'm on a downer today, a whole week to wait for another Archers Podcast.

Here you go Jim!!

I'm going to have to learn how to make "Playlists" for this thing. So far I've been listening to music using the "shuffle" feature, which puts a spin on hearing all my favourite tunes. However, today I got these in succession;
Followed by one of my own "greatest hits".
So I think playlists will lead to me being less disorientated and bi-polar while walking the dogs.....
edited to add;

Quick playlists can be put together on the device it's called on the go playlist select that from the menu then scroll through your albums and songs press and hold the centre button on the iPod until the song blinks twice and it goes into the playlist.
Otherwise on iTunes in the sidebar there is a playlist menu. Drag and drop songs from your iTunes library to there.
May I suggest a special thread entitled "Gob's fascinating and endlessly interesting record of things he's listened to lately"?
