Seen it too many times with the too few gov people down in Mastic Beach. The gov gives nothing but sympathy. How about those trailer homes they siad they were bringing so people could stay, if not in their homes, then on their property while their homes are being fixed on the "fast track" process. IF this is the "fast track" process I would hate to see the regular process. Might be able to move back in some 2 years after Obama is out of the White House.

If I see newly re-elected Tim Bishop and my dickhead senator Chuckie Schumer in Mastic Beach for yet another photo op telling people how they are "there for us/them" I am going to start drinking again and sending them the bill.

A Lord Jim Cooking Tip:

When chopping onions, do not wear reading glasses....the onion mist gets trapped and concentrated behind the lenses, and the effect is not unlike tear gas....

(I learned this valuable lesson a few minutes ago, while chopping up some onion for a pot of chili I am preparing...seemed like good weather for it.)
