Last thing about UTI's, last time I had one was while I was still in the Fleet Navy and started drinking coffee. Discovered then, the greatest natural prevention for just about any gastric/urinary distress is cranberry juice.
Very rarely get them now ...if I havent' been drinking enough cranberry juice.

My wife swears by cranberry juice for that very reason. but she also likes it with vodka, I don't know if the vodka helps or hurts, but I don't think she cares :D

All natural, no preservatives; with real Aloe Vera pulp in it, Yum. 'Enrich' is also paired with cranberry juice and is my favorite work snack/drink. Image

As you know, pulp in drinks tends to settle, and you can either shake it everytime or lay your bottle on its side to keep it distributed. The makers of Alo, took that into consideration and made the container with flat sides. You can lay it down and it won't roll. Way ccol.

Yes, it's a Swingline.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I thought I was going to do some useful work today instead I ended up taking a bunch of company mandated courses. Thanks to PlanB I was able to survive the mundane and obvious nature of these courses.

Don't trust reality
it's only a collective hunch.

Which reality do you speak of?

Anyone wish to trade?

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

When I was young, my father was a member of the Lions Club. Occasionally they held Father and Sons night.

One day my father came home from work a bit earlier than usual (about 6:00pm) and seemed almost to plead with me that it was one of those Father and Son things and would I please come.

I had no reason to say no and accepted.

As it turned out, he was wrong and I was the only offspring in the crowd.

Still, I was comfortable with the situation and I remember that they would sing songs. After a few beers one member got up and said, “Enough with these old dirges, lets sing…” and I don’t remember what he called for except that he got them to really sing out loud.

I also remember my parents having parties in the summer time. There would be a fire and inevitably they would sit around it and sing songs.

I still remember the one they would sing late at night.

Show me the way to go home
I’m tired and I want to go to bed
Had a drink about an hour ago
And it went straight to my head.

I also remember being taken to church where we sang hymns. The volume was significant.

We don’t do that anymore do we?

When we get together, even if there is fire to gather around, we don’t sing.

The last time I was in church, even the choir was somewhat muted.

Not that I want to sing with my friends, but what happened?

And if I were in the area, I would gladly accept.

I’m accustomed to being surrounded by people who speak a different language, but know how to party.

The singing part still seems a distant thing but I know how to mumble along from the years I have had singing the national anthem.

Until then, Feliz Navidad loCA.
