Though you may well be a 'Retel Adams.Guinevere wrote:I'm no Ansel Adams.
Lovely shots Guin.
I love "CHILDREN".
I think I would like to see it sepia.
Bah!

Re: I'm no Ansel Adams
you're just trying to keep Gob occupied aren't you?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Ha on Mrs. Slocombe. Her color is called dilute torbie --- blue (grey), cream, and white. She's a very pretty girl.
The "Children" sign is finished in antique. I did try it in both black & white and sepia tones, but I preferred the antique. I think the others flatten out the light and you miss some of the highlights (I shot that in the rising morning sun).
Gob, love that sky and clouds -- all that sun and you great intensity of color. well done, that's not easy.

Of course if you left the sign in color and the rest in B&W it would be a neat metaphor for diamonds and rust...

Neil: Yeah, you're right... Uh, what about, "That's ever so kind of you"?
Rick: Oh, come off it, Neil. If you're going to be that sycophantic, why don't you go 'round there now and stick your tongue straight down the back of his trousers?

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: I'm no Ansel Adams
Guin would beat me up, she got mad just cause I mentioned "woolies".
Then there's the Swed...

Sides I'm not artistic.
Don't mean I can't appreciate those that try to be, specially if they enjoy it...

Keld, that multi-color suggestion you made is not within my current skill set. If I can ever getto the point where I can do that, and remember, I'll post it.
Woolies? I don't remember that.
And my Swede, as he said to me recently in the midst of a heated, um, we'll call it a "debate:" "is a lover, not a fighter." Damn, what's a girl going to do with that?!?!?!

Spring sunset in my lovely little town. Just over the trees in the center of the photo are the tops of the tallest buildings in Boston.
