We just had to explain to a customer that just because her house sold two weeks sooner than expected, and her moving truck is on the way, we cannot do a week and a half's worth of restoration/refinishing/upholstery on her antique chair in less than two days.

This morning I told my boss "poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine".
I was wrong, it did constitute an emergency on my part.
Got it done anyway.

No, oldr, you forgot the two biggest rules of business.

1)  THE BOSS IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
2)   On the rare occasions where the boss is wrong,  RULE #1 SUPERSEDES RULE #2.

Just remember that "boss" spelled backwards is just 'double S.O.B.' — and try to keep the silly smirk off your face.

This is my new bed, that I picked up last Monday at IKEA. It sat inside my car until Saturday morning what with all the breaking down and being exhausted last week. I finally got it put together and slept in it last night for the first time.

I can't wait to get home from work today so I can crawl right back in!
