The US corn lobby has great influence in Congress. We put corn in everything! Sadly it's making many people sick & fat.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Our ethanol is derived from corn, and the US is the world's largest producer of ethanol.
