Same difference...

Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Things you won't often hear a prosecutor say about defense counsel: "He's right and to his credit he's done a fine job of pointing out a part of the law that is to his client's benefit."

(That's a quote from some random CA prosecutor; I stumbled on it online.)
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

As immediate as it gets.... there is a cockroach sitting (standing?) on the paper in my printer. I will try printing a page and see what it does./...

way cool! It was like a giant treadmill for it!

Where's the 'Doom' Lynn?

The other random thought was that my SA visa says it's valid for 35 months from April 24 2009. But it also has the expiration date of May 23 2012. Which is 37 months.

So if I renew it as of March 23, will I live two months longer? Or lose two months?

yes but in fact the christian calendar is a bit wonky ... ie: the date and time of Christ' birth. The Mayan's tended to be a bit more mathematically correct in their calculating... Just saying. ;)

Oh. Totally random. I would like to profess my profound gratitude towards the goddess that I did not exacerbate the situation between gelato and little gelatin.. Because that would have made me very sad indeed. Just saying. 8-)

Glad to see you're socializing Dale...

Anything you'd care to share about the lucky guy? :P

It's now also impossible to differentiate between someone walking down the street talking on some types of cell phone devices, and someone walking down the street talking to their imaginary friends....

I always found it useful to be able to positively identify an oncoming schizophrenic from a distance...
