Sheps sunset
Sheps sunset
Shepherd's lookout last night. I'm thinking of having it printed on canvas for the M-i-L's b'day pressie, your thoughts?

Lovely!

Are you kidding? He ran out - took a quick snap and then ran back to the house to filter, phase, blur, sharpen, highlight, colour correct and otherwise photoshop the entire thing.
Very pretty - reminds me of Constable for some reason
"ran" = metaphorically speaking

Just ordered it to be printed on canvas 24 x 16 inches

Re: Sheps sunset
and it turned out shit
The canvas lost a great deal of the detail, and because the tones are quite subtle they didn't render well.
We're going to get it done as an 80 x 50 photo print next
