Warning
This forum is an experiment, and if Reality Bytes says it's going to be a pain in the arse to have it here, then it goes! Please ensure you have your own back up copies of anything which goes in here. Don't blame me if it vanishes into the ether.
However, here's a chance for all to share their creativity in what ever form you work in, and for us to bask in the wonder of the beautiful things the members produce.
And I''l be posting my stuff too..

Re: Warning
And so once again we are invited to dive into the ether. To create the world on the other side, perhaps populate it with fictional people or maybe if we dare, some people we know.
Nothing is as pliable as an empty sheet of paper. It could very well be the only place where you can put words in the mouths of others and dictate the outcome.
And so now I must vanish, back into the ether from which I came. Is it still the first star to the left, then straight on till morning?

A sufficiently copious dose of bombast drenched in verbose writing is lethal to the truth.
Re: Warning
From behind closed windows a bloke shared his livings
With tarts, bloody whores and other misgivings
All garbled and warbling with worded canvases
knocking sense and old meanings on their flabby asses
He was critically sized and blamed for a leaving
But truth being bold there was nobody grieving
He was larfed at and spit upon and chided by some
As he spoke of his ventures at the Liverpool slum
Then it all just unfolded and postings diminished
Tho' he wrote that he never was through or yet finished
But things they do happen and soon they once did
He forgot his own plot and his mind made a skid
So in a tangled wrinkle inside his own head
He decided that his story had gone off to bed.

Re: Warning
I would also say we need to keep snark and parody out of this forum and have respect for other's work.
If you must roll your eyes at someone's chef d'oeuvre do it on the other side of the screen.

Re: Warning
Is that supposed to be a warning of some type, @meric@ngwv@r?
Re: Warning
Joe, Editec was not the only one to run off posters at the CSB. There was one classic incident involving you and Secrets. Not everyone has the toughness to deal with what other's think is the height of hilarity.
A little respect may be too much to ask, but then maybe just ignoring those who fail to get that salient point is the better approach.

Re: Warning
We could argue about why secrets left the CSB if you want (in another forum), but your warning is uncalled for.
Are you suggesting that this not a place "for all to share their creativity in what ever form you work in." ?
You may criticize me all you'd like for things you don't like when I do them here at Plan B, but you don't need to tell me how I can or cannot express myself.
You can have the last word here or take the discussion to another forum.

Re: Warning
To criticize a request for civility, consideration and thoughtfulness for other's feelings as a "warning" is a bit over the top. To insult me by comparing me to Gwen is beyond the pale.
It (your presence on this board that the probable outcome of your presence on this board) also illustrates why I will keep any creative inspiration for another outlet rather than here.

Re: Warning
PS, in case you haven't noticed, I am not on the list of administrators here and have no power to warn anyone of anything other than my own personal intent.
Re: Warning
Why is it that whenever Joe and @w get into a fight I feel like I'm watching a romantic comedy?

Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

It's likely the same drugs you take that affect your typing skills. (Another cheap shot!)Crackpot wrote:Why is it that whenever Joe and {b]@w[/b] get into a fight I feel like I'm watching a romantic comedy?

Reason is valuable only when it performs against the wordless physical background of the universe.
