I was looking too much like the "wrong" brother after a year, so could not wait to get in for a cut as soon as I was jabbed.

On the upside, you have enough hair to properly use that product.
I'm thinking of experimenting with something like this:

I figure it's one of those "if you can't fix it, feature it" moments.

I do a lot of that too. Problem is that it doesn't hide the sides and the back where most of the shagginess is. Unless I turn a ball cap around so the brim is at the back, in which case I look a middle aged man who wishes that he was still a skater boy.

With all the isolation of the past year, I'm guessing you might have enough "hair gel" available for something like this:

Just better hope his hairline doesn’t recede more or it will look (more) goofy.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Speaking of misheard lyrics, which I referenced in another thread, I Googled "Misheard Lyrics" and I sincerely believe that most of the lines in the lists I saw weren't really misheard lyrics. They were just made up substitute lines. Worse yet, since I'm a non-young person, there are now songs on misheard lyrics lists that I've never even heard of.

Whatever happened to the good old days when Hendrix sang great lines like, 'Excuse me while I kiss this guy' and CCR sang 'There's a bathroom on the right'?

That's the style I want.

That reeks of cultural appropriation. Travis Bickle may have an excuse as he was insane (or at least experiencing PTSD), but you better set up your defense first.

Of course I (like everyone) have been familiar with the term "old fart" for a long time...but now that I actually *AM* one, I have to say that I'm quite surprised at just how literal a description it is.

If no one is held captive,
then truth can never free.
If no one is held captive,
then rescue cannot be

And if no one is held captive,
what of these prison scars?
If no one is held captive,
why these iron bars?

If no one is held captive,
it means nothing to be free.
If no one is held captive,
then who’s in here with me?

Mousse. After six months without a haircut I have resorted to styling my hair with mousse. I haven't used mousse since the 1980s when I tried to wear my hair like the guys from a-ha.
