Plan B Freecycle

I have a 5th generation iPod 80 gig up for grabs.
Prefer to send it to someone tight on cash who has wanted one but couldn't afford one; but will also consider general bargain hunters.
Trolls need not apply.
PM me if interested.

Not interested, I was looking for a new phone recently, and was offered a few touchpad type, smartphones ~meh.
I just want to make calls, the rest was techno-babble-garbage.

$50 to a charity of your choice for it.

Charity of my choice would be tolerating me for a visit when I get around to coming!
Or, if you insist, please give the $ to a nonreligious charity of your choice in Oz that benefits animals, nature or kids.
So, it's got 20gb of stuff on it - music, podcasts and a couple videos. I'm not sure how to erase or reset - can you mess with that? Also, some of the stuff is JUNK my exBF put on there; so anything crappy, don't blame it on me if you listen to it!
My name's engraved at the back, but you can scratch it out. It comes with an iFrogz case. I was getting together a package for you anyway, so I'll send that off this week.

I was also planning to send this book:
http://www.evilempirebook.com/book.php
It was amongst Linda's things and I've been carrying it around meaning to send it to you. It's pretty funny, but does dis the British a bit.

Can you take it? Or have you already read it?

The generosity of my American chums never ceases to impress me.
A huge THANK YOU BSG!
BSG, the ipod arrived today, with all the other goodies you included.
I'm currently working my way thought the playlist and saving some of the tracks, you have very eclectic taste! (I love Bad Company BTW.)
I will be making a further donation to Breast Cancer Research, as I feel the stuff you sent warrants it.

Sorry that my procrastinatory nature kept you waiting so long, but glad you are pleased.
(Miles, don't give up on me - you are next!)
I hope you enjoy the Sherlock in Montana, which I picked up with you in mind but admittedly read before I sent it. It is best for giving you a taste of the wild west days here, not really as a challenge to Doyle's literary skills.
As to the donation, if it is not too late and you are so inclined, toss a few bucks toward the abused animals of Oz. I like animals better than most people.

Download iTunes, search for The Archers in the store and buy/download. You'll need to sync your iPod to it and transfer them across. You are now an Apple slave.

Did you figure out how to get the stuff from that iPod to your computer? I can link you to the software I used if you need it.
If you don't get the stuff into your iTunes library on your computer, in trying to put new stuff on you'll lose the old. I think?

If you can get it there, take a listen sometime to This American Life. It's a very eclectic and always interesting radio show on NPR/PRI. Free podcast on iTunes, I believe.

This American Life is great; also check out Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, a very funny news quiz from NPR. A friend and her hubby and son downloaded a year's worth for a long road trip and laughed the whole way!

"The Archers"? Dear Lord....
I'm not sure Cornish Welshmen are advanced enough to understand the Archers.... but to catch you up Gob:
Jim and Lynda agree they had an interesting debate last night, discussing sport versus the arts for the village fete. There’s time for everyone to think over the ideas raised before the next meeting. A noisy Scruff is clearly getting restless. Lynda goes to see what he’s barking at in the undergrowth and is spooked by an animal running off into the bushes. Lynda thinks it was a big cat – the size of a cheetah. Jim insists that sightings of big cats are rural myths, but Lynda knows what she saw; she’s convinced Ambridge has got its own big cat.
Usha tells Ruth that Amy has gone away with Carl, at Amy’s suggestion. Ruth thinks Amy can’t know he’s married, but Usha still can’t make her mind up. It’s churning Usha up. Ruth insists she needs to speak to Alan or Amy as soon as she can.
This is what Steve "Big" Jobs had in mind all right... oh arrrrrrr!

I will not have a single bad word said against The Archers.
Yes the acting may be shocking, yes the storylines may well be meandering and the "farming scenes" with a few buzzwords thrown in from Farming Today Magazine have very little to do with actual farming, but it's still bloody brilliant.
Hope you get your podcast sorted Gob!
