Neat, I've seen one of these things done as a very large cube at a hotel I stayed at once.

You have far more patience than I, I can only imagine the tedium, really like yer results tho :D

It was amazing to watch Hen's patience and perseverance in making this, and it is beautiful, my photo does it no justice.

(Pssst Hen, if you're going to gain a foot and a half, can the foot be in leg length? :D)

Thanks guys, it really is more lovely than my image shows.

It'll be a shame when it comes down.

When you are ready to take it down, might I suggest a bb gun. Looks like it could be a cool carnival game.

Very very pretty --- I wouldn't have near the patience.

To add some excitement, put an oscillating fan in the room then try and shoot the Christmas balls.
Come on, the damn things are on sale now. Cheaper than clay targets and don't have to go to the range.

It's the housing off an old fan we had been throwing out.

Here's what it looks like from underneath

Have you not taken it down yet?!?
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Why? It's an objet d'art. The ghost of Christmas trees past and futuristic.

Adding a fan (not you, the other kind, ambient air) might be interesting too.

Did she weight them at all? If no, I would guess there is a lot of movement.

I like that thought Rube. It may help me deal with the fact that the rest of the family doesnt want to pack it away.

Surprisingly there is hardly any movement at all. When a breeze does hit them, they tinkle a bit like wind charm.

The puppies have their sleeping pen underneath it and the Hatch has some strange idea that it will amuse and interest the little gentlemen. (A bit like a baby mobile.). The little gentlemen don't seem to pay any attention to it.

:)
