I'm trying to figure out how to put one (or more) of your pictures on my woodburning.
Brown and beige vs black and white?
Some coloring after burning the outlines?
The landscape lends itself to woodburning, the sky, while making the contrast of the picture, is difficult.
Might have to burn, then color then burn for shading.
I've been trying to do a portrate of my dog (a black lab, very black, can't see him at night) and haven't been able to get the subtle contrasts in his coat correct. Some parts dark black, then the sheen which almost looks silvery black. I did a german shepard which came out great, but then they lend themselves to the coloring/shading of wood burning. As did the bear and bald eagle and turtle and wolf and red hawk and other nature pictures I did.

There's always a chance. I think I have pictures of the some of the ones I did that I gave away and some of hte ones I have hanging around the housee and sitting on my workbench. I'm working on a forest/mountain scene reflecting in a lake (with a canoeist). So far I think it's coming out well although the reflections in the water along with making the water look like water is proving to be a challange. Lots of technique practicing before I do a part of the scene. If I don't get to post the pictures somewhere, I'll email them to you and you can post them if you like.
Might be some time though as my home computer is DOA (I think the hard drive isn't spinning, so either I try and fix or resurrect my daughters old laptop or go buy new)

I should take pictures of all the stuff I made that are around the house, from my sons platform bed to the "trinket shelf" and dresser in my daughters room to the spoon cabinet in the kitchen to the rail/plate shelf in the living room
not to mention many other "little things" I made for the kids as they were growing up that I am saving for when they have their own kids.
Spent this weekend making 30+ ornaments for next years Christmas party. Not done yet but the hard part is over. Everone else who makes ornaments for this parrty just buys some crapola to give out. Not me. I made little sleds (based on a sled I made for my son when he was just over a year old) four years ago. Now it's my turn again and am making Christmas trees out of wood with all the trimmings. I am looking into a small button battery that would light up some LEDS, but haven't found the right size yet.
