Still waiting for the bathroom update
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: planned parenthood
I don't have the time this morning to play "treasure hunt"...
Wes, a good rule of thumb is that if you don't care enough about a topic to bother to post a link to what you're talking about, you probably don't care enough about it to bother posting about it at all...

Re: planned parenthood
Stuff your youtube link. Post what you want to discuss. We don't need video.

Re: planned parenthood
well meade, when I just post a comment about a subject I want to discuss, without a link, you criticize, then when I post a link you criticize.
I guess you have your own problems, like all of us....
anyway, the 'lady' is bargaining over body parts of fetuses. does not want to be "lowballed" wants to negotiate a good price. watch the video.

Re: planned parenthood
That's the idea. You state what's going on. The link is given to back up your statement.anyway, the 'lady' is bargaining over body parts of fetuses. does not want to be "lowballed" wants to negotiate a good price. watch the video.
Now I know what it's about, I can decide whether or not to look at the linked story or video.
Thank you. Good job

Re: planned parenthood
It's grotesque, of course, but on a metaphysical horribleness scale, I guess it's better to kill the babies and sell off their body parts to another baby that might benefit, rather than just tossing them (the parts) into an incinerator.
I feel better about it now.

Re: planned parenthood
There are no 'babies' at issue, there is only fetal tissue. And yes, it's better to repurpose it for research or other life-saving reasons than to just toss it in the biohazard bin.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Re: planned parenthood
If they are profiting from the sale of donated tissue, then they should be taken to task; but it seems more likely that the costs are intended to cover the additional costs of preparing and storing/shipping the tissue to those who use it. FWIW, blood banks (including the Red Cross) do the same with donated blood as do legiotimate organ banks with donated organs for transplant.
And many hospitals sell human placentas to cosmetic companies for use in placental creams and cosmetics.
eta: sorry, but I posted before I finished--Sales to biomedical companies is also brisk. Cord blood is quite valuable, e.g. And these are done without any donation forms signed--the tissue is just taken by the hospitals without any notification.
In the case of PP, it appears as if the tissue is knowingly donated and such donation can be refused.
