correction: I posted the maximum rate which was over those two months. So it was 1/2 of the maximum rate during the uprising. The rate over the four months before the uprising was -0-. So the rate went up a great deal.

Yes, when the Germans ceased rounding up Jews to send to their deaths and were content to simply pen them in the ghetto, the rate of rounding up Jews and sending them to their deaths did go down. I m lucky in that one of the only places that the Indians were not ravaged was the lower shore. they are us, we integrated and assimilated. we are lucky. the black haired old women are still fairly numerous, out in the country and down by the water. we all, the old families anyway, have indian blood in us.

Dodging is entirely on your side, old boy. When the Germans were actively rounding up the Jews, the rate of their progress was vastly reduced when they were opposed. There was greater cost to the Germans but the cost to the Jews was no greater than it would have been anyway.

Two other obvious facts:
When the Germans were not rounding up Jews, the rate of roundups was zero and that of resistance was zero
Whether there was resistance or not, the final result was the same - everybody dies in the end

As to the Indians, they were as "noble" as all mankind is (or isn't). They were as capable of treachery and atrocity as anyone - they didn't learn it from invaders but practiced it quite well amongst themselves and especially against the whites. All sides of that conflict have shameful discredit as well as bravery and heroics. Plus it's racist to lump all tribes together as if they are one homogenous mass - they were not. South eastern tribes and south western tribes were as different from each other as were north eastern from the plains tribes.
