I have always figured it was very strange that the national health plan proposed by the group led by First Lady Clinton was EXACTLY the plan provided by the E I DuPont corp to all their USofA employees at that time. No-brainer that the DuPont executives were all in favor of the taxpayer picking up at least some of the tab.

Yes. Here is a good graph (it is interactive so is not a picture): http://www.people-press.org/2015/05/19/ ... -timeline/Econoline wrote:A sitting U.S. Senator or Secretary of State is "out of the line of fire"?
What it shows is that there is a reason for every rise and decline of her popularity, which has nothing to do with her gender. I suspect that we would see similar graphs for pretty much any politician. It is worth noting that her longest time with good popularity ratings came as Secretary of State, where she actually was mainly above the fray and acting as a diplomat for the Administration. Just as John Kerry has helped rebuild his image as Secretary of State, HRC did the same. That office gets to act presidential without taking much of the political heat. It helped that she was part of a good team that had a pretty successful first few years, improving relations with other countries and pulling the trigger on the bin Laden raid. She left office early enough that the messes in Libya, Egypt and other Middle East problems were not understood/popularized until she began running for POTUS.
Since she started running for president, she has made many mistakes and reminded the majority of people who have had problems with her over the years of why they do not like her. If you are a fan of hers, though, take heart. People's memories are short and the email thing will seem about as important as White Water, Cattle Futures, Cablegate, Attacking Bill's Paramours, Benghazi and the rest. That is, unless she fumbles the campaign when Trump starts playing her greatest hits. I have to believe she has a plan for that, but then this has been one strange year on the campaign trail.

"If" she chooses to run for a second term. I have a gut feeling that she'll be passing the gonfalon to Kaine who I feel will do quite well if he takes on the challenge.Econoline wrote:... It occurs to me that the one thing that will settle this is whether Hillary Clinton gets RE-elected in 2020...
