The context is (according to the texts) that he was taking the picture and the kid climbed up on his bed. He was texting with this lady and getting aroused and his kid walks in. Little kids walk in on parents having sex and are oblivious at that age. The kid wasn't scarred, but he shouldn't have sent it. On the other hand she apparently sent him pics of her nieces and nephews, so . . . bad judgment abounds in the world.
I should think Huma Abedin can do much better.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Meade, you should remember from the old Café boards that I was one of the more strait-laced persons there. My idea of birth control and/or prevention of contracting diseases like AIDS or herpes was not to pass out free condoms but rather to keep your pecker in your pants, and I considered any woman who went to bed with or lived with a man/boyfriend/"significant other" to be little better than any other whore on the street corner — and I made no secret of it. And I was — on occasion — the object of ridicule for my 'out of date' attitudes.MajGenl.Meade wrote:Did you read this BB?
The man, married but carrying on with some stranger, was sending photos of himself, his bulging crotch AND HIS CHILD ALONGSIDE to her.The New York Post published photos late Sunday that it said Weiner had sent last year to a woman identified only as a “40-something divorcee” who lives in the West and supports Republican Donald Trump. The photos included two close-ups of Weiner’s bulging underpants.
In one of the pictures, Weiner is lying on a bed with his toddler son while texting the woman
Evidently the guy's wife thinks there's something not quite right in there. He sent photos of his child and his own dick to some other woman. How the heck is that the same as a husband and wife considering having another child?
So, I've changed to some degree. Do I now, personally, think it's right? Of course not! But you can't legislate morality; the failure of Prohibition or the "war on drugs" proves that. While I still feel that the idea of "no ding-ding without a wedding ring" is probably the best way to go, the fact of the matter is that I'm not going to be able to change everyone else's morals ... it would be like King Canute trying to hold back the tide; it's gonna happen anyway. So if Tony Weiner — or anyone else — wants to send pictures of his junk to someone else or hook up and bang anyone in a skirt, wedding vows notwithstanding, I figure that so long as they are not doing it with my (theoretical) wife or forcing me to do it it's no concern of mine.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
