I've seen this elsewhere, with his name as Tax E. Vader - I like that better, as it mirrors the Donald J. Trump so nicely. :ok

Am I the only one disturbed by the fact that CNN is advertising the next debate as something somewhere between a boxing match and WWE smackdown?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I haven't seen thos advertisements, but it sounds pretty ridiculous for a serious news network to do that.

Sounds like the movie Network.

Frankly, I am so disturbed by so many things regarding this election, that I really can't work up much disturbedness for that one...

My capacity for being disturbed about this election is already more than maxed out...

I'm far more disturbed by the fact that my party has nominated a dangerous buffoon who behaves as though he belongs in a WWE match, then I am about any debate promo commercials a TV network could run....

But Jim--this transcends the election and goes to the state of the press. There's a lot that's disturbing about the campaign, but the mainstream press shouldn't jump on that same asinine bandwagon (Rupert Murdoch hacks, sure, but not CNN). Maybe I am more disappointed than disturbed (just as I was with Kane's performance in the debate).

Donald Trump is like a bad Richie Rich caricature, especially the ridiculously over-the-top décor of his Manhattan apartment. It's not attractive, and how could it possibly be comfortable?

I, too, have been dismayed by the 'countdown clock' and other super hype of the debates on the cable channels, it's ridiculous. If I was a believer in the MOTU, I'd believe that all of this was contrived to keep our attention off the terrible problems in this country and the world so they (the MOTU, who own the media) could get their candidate elected.

I just haven't figured out which of the two is the MOTU's candidate . . .

And you guys make fun of me watching Duck Dynasty. :nana

I have my coffee, setup, greeter and meeting chair commitments tonight. I'll miss any adverts from 6pm to 10pm. I'll probably go right to bed when I get home but if not, I'll putter around the workshop for a bit before turning in.
When is the next debate? I'll make sure I line up something useful to do while that is happening.

I had to look it up also.

It would be helpful to some of us if Sue would speak American.

It's hipster-american, a dialect.
