More than a month after saying the presidential election was a choice between the “lesser of two evils,” 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick said today he won’t be making a choice.
At the end of his weekly interview with reporters, Kaepernick said he hadn’t voted today and he had no plans to do so.
Kaepernick, who has knelt during the national anthem this season to protest social-rights issues, has spelled out his distaste for Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton since his protest became public.
In late September, a day after the first presidential debate, Kaepernick criticized both candidates.
