At about the four minute mark in the discussion between Wallace and Smith in the OP, Shep gets breaking news about the eighth participant in the meeting and really starts blasting the Trump lies...
In addition to Smith and Wallace, Bret Baer is a pretty straight shooter, and Brit Hume as well, (though he's now semi retired and only appears on-air occasionally)
But when it comes to the weekly evening lineup, (and the morning show Fox and Friends) fugget about it...
They're basically shameless infomercials for Trump...(also Jeannine Piro's weekend show; Trump would probably like to nominate her to the Supreme Court...)
Hannity should be absolutely ashamed of himself with his crackpot conspiracy theory mongering, and Tucker Carlson is particularly cynical in what he's doing...
I remember when Carlson portrayed himself as a Libertarian; a little over a decade ago he had an evening show on MSNBC (Rachel Maddow got her start in cable news as a regular guest on that show)
Hannity and Carlson have apparently decided that regurgitating to the Trumpanzee faithful what they want to hear is a great business model for fattening the 'ol bank account, and they're willing to say any damn fool thing (no matter how dishonest I'm sure they know it to be) to not risk their lucrative gigs...

Just posting this image here without comment, because whoever writes the chyrons for Fox just might be proving Jim's point (the title of the thread).

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.
