Third Dem Debate, 12 Sept 19

Post by Sue U »

Is anyone still watching these? The media commentaries I've seen this morning tend to see Biden as giving a "strong" or "crisp" performance, but I thought his answers were the most muddled, incoherent and off-topic of any of them. He certainly didn't seem like a "front-runner" to me -- virtually all the others presented themselves just as well or better than he did.
GAH!

Pick your "pecking order."

1a)Warren, 1b)Harris 2) Bootgieg... that would be a solid team to rally around.

Regardless, ANY functional adult Democrat team will get my vote on November 3rd.

By the by... I've been listening to Henryk Górecki: Symphony No. 3 [“Symphony of Sorrowful Songs”], Op. 36 while interwebbing. Mahler heavy movements, but powerful and transcending. Great reflection piece for Rosh Hashanah.

I saw it last night and while I think no one really stood out, Castro made an ass of himself again attacking Biden--to the point where Buttigieg said "this is why most Americans complain about politics" (or something like that. I don't think anyone really was a standout of helped themselves that much, but aI'd vote for any of them--even Castro, as much as I can't stand him.

I hear the next one may be over two nights like the previous ones.
