Also from Oz...

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

I suggest all references to "Donald" to "Bye Don". It reminds us we should be reading Biden's stuff, not Donald's.

I have stopped using any of his names. 45* or any one of the fitting monikers like Cheeto Twitler is all he gets from me.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

In UK parlance, a P45 is essentially the same as a American pink slip.
There is something nicely rounded about a P45 for P45*.Per Investopedia: P45 is the reference code of a tax form titled "Details of employee leaving work" that an employer gives to an employee upon termination of employment in the United Kingdom

In response to a suggestion 4 years ago by Jim Wright on his Stonekettle Station blog, ever since he was "elected" I have never called him anything but simply "Trump", because I refuse to imitate or legitimize his childish name-calling. (And in the rare instances in which it was necessary to use his title I would (1) avoid putting that word immediately before his name and (2) always spell it "pResident".)
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.
