People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

I like the Rolling Stone take on the bastard's passing: https://www.rollingstone.com/
Good riddance, indeed. Why didn't we make him face justice in this world? Because this world is beyond fucked.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

He's gone; but the legacy of his bullshit will plague us for a much longer time.
The sad thing is that he was a very smart guy who just started to believe his own bullshit and really believed he alone was the savior of mankind. He could have worked for the good of all, but only cared about himself and proving he was the smartest man in the room. Team him up with a guy of few moral scruples and the ability to wind people up, like Nixon, and you see what you get. But it goes to show how bad Trump could be if he was intelligent.

Here in the U.S. and A. we have quite a list of war criminals who should be rotting in jail but are instead leading comfortable lives: Dick Cheney, Jay Bybee, John Yoo and David Addington -- architects of the prisoner torture program in the Iraq war -- spring to mind as recent examples. If there were true justice in this world, these guys and Kissinger would all die in the care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
GAH!

Sadly, sometimes there isn't even any justice in those halls,

The fact that the winners are rarely, if ever, prosecuted for war crimes doesn't mean they haven't committed any.
