This year's Senate map is not favorable to the Democrats retaining control. If Jon Tester can't hang on in Montana, it's probably game over unless there is an upset in Florida, Nebraska or Texas.

Dan Osborn, nominally an independent but in essence a Democrat, is now leading one of the Nebraska senate races by one point over Republican incumbent Deb Fischer

Not for nothing, the DSCC announced (finally!) major teevee ad buys in Florida and Texas, looking to pick off Scott and/or Cruz. They might just have a shot at doing it.

As Al Franken said when he was a Senator: “I like Ted Cruz more than most of my other colleagues like Ted Cruz. And I hate Ted Cruz.”
