Yes but would Canada take New England, New York and New Jersey as new provinces? Please?
I agree. Why do we even tolerate all those tiny bitty little baby-sized states? They need to man up and make a state they can be proud of.

Instead of an archipelago of miniatures they.can be a proper Brobdingnag of statehood.

New York is a pretty substantially large state in area , and most of these have fairly high populations, certainly more than the substantial number of larger states having only one or two House members, not to mention being the states where most of the federal income tax is paid.

Russia said these exact words about Ukraine before, you know.

I've always prided myself on being a peaceable person, but I feel rising homicidality in me when I think of this punchable-faced puke and his orange puppet.

If we do anything to Canada, I will totally go there and join the resistance. Time for the Canucks to burn down our WH again!

I guess time marches on and all but I never thought Canada would stop loving Gretzky. But then, I don’t love him anymore myself so I guess Canada and I have similar values.

Currently watching the Canadian PM in a press conference on the DM website of all places - I stumbled onto it and it is fascinating, not just the intellect that is exhibited in every comment and answer to press questions, but he speaks it all in fluent Quebecois too and with decency toward the press and his people.

I'm so embarrassed and ashamed of US today, and everyday since we inaugurated our fascist dictator.

Sorry it's that trash UK tabloid Daily Mail - which has a US page as well. I open it and read the pro-Trump anti-progressive headlines and then sometimes the articles to see how they're spinning things for the MAGAts who make up the majority readership.

This morning when I opened it they had a livestream of Trudeau's presser on the trade war we just launched against our Canadian friends. If you'd like to watch it you can here:

I love how the headline says Trudeau 'lashes out' - only entirely politely, as Canadians are wont to do. Not ugly bully flying the bully freak flag like Trump, Vance and minions in the Oval last Friday.

I think our new PM has the stuff to keep Trump out of Canada's net.

Of course, he's been up to a lot since then:

Tabarnaque, the guy is better qualified than Trump's entire freak show combined.

I suspect the new Canadian Prime Minister can even find Lesotho on a map.

I hope that the threat of USA looming with tariffs and demands of annexation will keep Canadians from making a terrible mistake at their election - like the one we made in November.

Jack Kimble is the Congressman from California's faux 54th District. In reality he is the brainchild of a Chicago school teacher. Kimble began making a name for himself on both Twitter and the blogosphere in 2009 with his unique brand of political satire. By 2010 he had gained acclaim for duping both The Huffington Post and the Washington Post within a single month. Admirers of Jack Kimble include members of Congress, comedians, liberals, and even discerning conservatives, who appreciate Jack's humor that often takes right wing talking points to a hilarious conclusion.
