I agree. I have not seen the Doomsday Clock countdown for a while, but it must be getting closer. Mutually Assured Destruction is no longer considered a protection strategy by even the most optimistic. There was a small recognition of this anniversary in the NY Times today. This too, is a day that should be never forgotten as Pearl Harbor fades from the cultural memory.
