Thanks for checking in. Like 99+% of the population here, I am fine. The "war torn" area is about a block and half by the ICE facility and I drive through it regularly. Several things can be true: the situation is not under control but there is no violence and it is not war torn under any stretch of the imagination; sending in the National Guard will make things worse; and this is what Trump wants.
