This also made the rounds back in 2018, and it isn't completely, 100% true — apparently Donald never said these exact words with regard to the 2013 shutdown under Obama.  But according to a Politifact article from 2018, he DID say
"If you say who gets fired, it always has to be the top. Problems start from the top, and they have to get solved from the top, and the president’s the leader, and he’s got to get everybody in a room, and he’s got to lead. And he doesn’t do that, he doesn’t like doing that, that’s not his strength." — Donald J. Trump, in a September 2013 phone interview with 'Fox and Friends'
and
"You have to get everybody in a room. You have to be a leader. The president has to lead. He has to get (the Speaker of the House) and everybody else in a room, and they have to make a deal. You have to be nice and be angry and be wild and cajole and do all sorts of things, but you have to get a deal."  —  Donald J. Trump, in an October 7, 2013 interview with Greta Van Susteren of Fox News.
In addition, Trump also took to Twitter before, during, and after the shutdown to voice his opinion, agreeing with users that it would never happen if he were president and that Obama had "failed to lead."

So fast-forward twelve years.   Although Trump is supposedly a deal-maker — he even titled his first ghost-written autobiography "The Art of the Deal" — here we are again.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

C'mon you guys, clearly the only reason for the first clip is Trump's eternal loathing of Barack Obama, his eloquence, intelligence, charisma, and BIG DICK ENERGY - all things which Trump will never, ever, EVER have not if he had ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD.

That clip wasn't a statement about Trump's political or leadership theories - it was 1000% about his loathing of the black president who will ALWAYS be more beloved than Trump.

Obama? Even W and Nixon will be more beloved than Trump. And I would bet historians will have more respect for Buchnan and Andrew Johnson.

Trump is an even bigger political joke than Dan Quayle was during his time as Veep — and believe you me, that's saying something.
