I am a member of the IWW (wobblies) although at the moment I can't find my little red
book of stamps that show I have supported the good guys., so I cannot claim to be a card-carrying member. But I would like to be a card-carrying member of ANTIFA.

Anybody tell where to send my application?

If you find out let me know.

As for Charlie Kirk's old group, rather than banning it, I think it would be better to permit themselves to discredit their views with their own rhetoric. Sure, some will cheer the idiocy--but for the most part, the rest will recognize it for the idiocy it is. Free speech sucks some time, and some may be emotionally hurt (or angered) by what is said, but it is preferable to attempts to restrict it.

Honestly, it's not worth the effort. I still haven't been paid for provoking the January 6 insurrection, even though I turned in my time sheet and expense receipts before the end of the month. And all we got for that operation was red hats -- cheap ones, at that -- they didn't even provide bear spray, you had to buy your own. And then they have the nerve to say "Oh we can't pay right now, there's an FBI investigation," as if the FBI isn't on the payroll too. These friggin guys.
GAH!

You did express your hope: " I hope it would be more of an insurgency...". And now you say what you hope for is not what you want? :shrug
You would prefer a full-scale war like the War Between the States, where mostly the grunts get killed, over an insurgency that targets the leadership? Excuse me, but I have to choose the lesser of two evils. Remember in Vietnam, when you said they should just put all the generals together in one room and let them kill each other? Well, I’m agreeing with you now.
Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.

I don't ever recall saying that re Vietnam or any other armed conflict. Sure, it's an engaging idea, and I would have liked to see Nixin (or even LBJ) in a 15 rounder, but come on. And you didn't say that the "insurrection" would target only the 'Leaders of the opposition, but
one that targets intellectuals, elites, political leaders, lawyers, judges, prosecutors, and maybe even celebrities like Jimmy Kimmel[/quote. So you celebrate the targeting of the very people who have any chance of keeping us free--you know, people who speak out and express their opinions (unlike what you tell your kids to do) and those who try to work within the system (like lawyers, judges, prosecutors..) to keep us free. At least we know how much you value those freedoms.

But Hegseth will put in their places steroid taking lunkheads who look fit, and are pretty much as smart as he is and clueless as to how to run a brigade, division, or army (or the naval and air force equivalents); people who value defined rules of engagement.
There is a Russian saying: 'Strong like bull; smart like tractor."
