Trump's New Battleship....
Trump's New Battleship....
I got access to a sneak peek of a prototype of Trump's new planned battleship that will be bigger than any ship that has ever been seen before.
That's not Trump, it's a figurehead that will be attached to the bow of each new ship...

At least the guns are pointing at the correct target

The ship's guns certainly have a big, fat, easy target, pointed at Trump's corpulent ass.

Re: Trump's New Battleship....
Battleships were vital in the last two world wars. Which ended 107 and 80 years ago.
I am uncertain how much difference they will make in the cheap drone age.
We used to have an Office of Net Assessment run out of the Pentagon, which, according to Wikipedia, was tasked to "develop and coordinate net assessments of the standing, trends, and future prospects of U.S. military capabilities and military potential in comparison with those of other countries or groups of countries in order to identify emerging or future threats or opportunities for the United States." One of Trump and Hegseth's first actions was to abolish this office. Hegseth has told us that abolishing facial hair among the troops is the key to a strong military. Clearly Ulysses S Grant was wrong all those years ago and the Civil War would have ended years before with no loss of life if only he had shaved occasionally. And we won't even mention that dreadfully hirsute Mr Lincoln.
Hegseth and Trump are, of course, playing a clever game by pretending to be morons with no moral sense and very inflated views of their own intelligence and wisdom thus lulling our enemies into a false sense of security.

It would never be the USS Trump unless

-"BB"-
- 1) it included a golf course
2) all the brasswork was replaced with gold fittings
3) the final cost was at least three times the original estimates... but that wouldn't be a problem, as Trump would immediately declare that he'd be making either the Russians or the Chinese pay for it anyway!!
-"BB"-
Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

In survival school, our instructors explained that in situations where nutrition is uncertain and your immune system is weakened, keeping your skin clean reduces the risk of infections that could become serious. Short hair and a smooth face make it easier to maintain hygiene when you’re living in the dirt and don’t have reliable access to water.ex-khobar Andy wrote: ↑Wed Dec 24, 2025 5:24 amBattleships were vital in the last two world wars. Another major reason, and probably the dominant one today, is that you can never be sure what environment you’ll be operating in; if the enemy uses chemical agents, a clean‑shaven face is essential for getting a proper seal on a gas mask.
Of course, the military does made exceptions for cultural or religious reasons, depending on host nation.
Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.

Did you know there is talk of replacing the Phalanx Gatling‑gun system used on Navy ships to shoot down incoming projectiles? I think that’s a mistake.

Re: Trump's New Battleship....
Back in 1907, Teddy Roosevelt sent The Great White Fleet, a group of sixteen US Navy battleships, on a two-year circumnavigation of the globe to showcase American naval power and foster goodwill. The historic voyage demonstrated U.S. military might, strengthened international relations (especially with Japan), and spurred naval development as well as embodying Roosevelt's "big stick" diplomacy. Sounds to me like Donny wants to build some new ships and do the same thing himself. And if he can somehow slap his name/brand/logo/ego onto them, so much the better.ex-khobar Andy wrote: ↑Sat Dec 27, 2025 1:38 pmUkraine Sees the Future of Naval Warfare. Trump Doesn’t.

Donny might, however, want to think of potential headlines, and maybe reconsider slapping his name on a warship. Maybe I have a little bit of a perverse streak in me, as I have to admit I would derive more than just a little satisfaction out of news articles reading something like "Navy Reports Trump Ravaged By Scurvy" or "Trump Runs Aground In Fog" — followed, of course, by "Trump Deemed Irreparable Following Grounding — Will Be Scrapped"...

Re: Trump's New Battleship....
But the Donald sure has a way of understanding boats 'n stuff:
“There was a major explosion in the dock area where they load the boats up with drugs. They load the boats up with drugs, so we hit all the boats and now we hit the area. It’s the implementation area. There’s where they implement. And that is no longer around”
You can see the work-chain associations in his senile mind:
drugs to boats - boats to area - area to implementation - implementation to blammo!

I think this one is dead in the water. It will be a miracle if the design can be completed before the next CinC is sworn in, let alone lay the keel. It makes more sense to design a new electric submarine powered by solar panels.
