Greg Bovino descriptions seen elsewhere:

BTW, Marisa Kabas's Greg Bovino Bitch Fund Benefitting Immigrant Rights in Minnesota raised $18,500 for two MN immigrant support orgs just for calling Bovino a bitch.
GAH!

By the way, the Washington Post today had an interesting little item pointing out that the Official Federal holiday calendar still calls this day George Washington's Birthday. It has never been official changed to 'president day ' and so far Trump has not noticed.

My Google calendar on my Android phone notes it as Presidents' Day. But if it's actually still 'Washington''s Birthday', observing it on the 16th?   That's closer to Lincoln's Birthday (Feb 12th) than George's (Feb 22nd).

And speaking of Lincoln — why does he get kicked to the curb entirely?   Isn't Honest Abe, who presided over this country during the Civil War and arguably preserved the Union that Trump and the GOP seem hell-bent on destroying, worthy of commemoration any more?

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

As I recall, when they made the change one of the "reasons" was that Washington was born Feb 11, 1732, when England still used the Julian Calendar; this became Feb 22 when they adopted the Gregorian calendar in the early 1750s and added an 11 day adjustment to Feb 22 (I never bought it and doubt many in Congress even knew of the two calendars let alone took it into account); it was a effort to limit the number of holidays in Feb and eventually to make it a Monday holiday (like Veterans day briefly was).
