Errmm.. I believe there was a party dumb enough to do that once already! The same bunch who chose a certifiable moron to lead them previously?

Otherwise, they'd have a better chance if they put Charlie Sheen on the ticket....
Don't give them ideas...

When McCain put her on the ticket, Sarah Palin wasn't what she has become since then...

Then she was a little known incumbent Governor, who had done a good enough job to achieve an 88% approval rating in her state; highly regarded by independents, and even many Democrats in her state....She'd served as long as Governor as Barack Obama had as a Senator, and she had gotten elected by being politically skillful enough to take on and defeat the Murkowski Machine....

As a matter of fact, there's recently been a data dump of about 25,000 emails of hers from her time as Governor that numerous member of the media have been combing through, anxiously looking for more "Paul Revere Moments"....

They've been very disappointed...

They've been forced to report that what emerges instead is a portrait of a person who worked very hard, was well versed in the details of the issues that she had to deal with; a hands on and effective administrator, with a fairly non-ideological, problem solving oriented approach....

A far cry from the shrill High Priestess of hard-right absolutism and intellectually lazy self absorption we see today....

I believe Palin morphed into this persona for the same reason that Willie Sutton robbed banks...

Because that's where the money is....

i dunno that data was transferred from electronic medium to hardcopy and just handed out randomly, I understand.

What I wanna know is: What wasn't printed out?

:?:

I've also heard the rumor that her husband Todd Palin, was the real power behind the throne; how easy would it have been to find/replace his name for hers, and then print the emails?

It was in researching her hunting licenses in a previous thread, but did you know:

her own parents are court ordered not to speak about her past?

Is Sarah Palin losing her celebrity aura?

A documentary about the Republican political star has bombed at the US box office, earning just $US24,000 ($22,000) at the weekend, and now looks destined for a quick transfer to television, according to figures released by box-office tracking firm BoxOfficeMojo.com.

The film, The Undefeated, was bankrolled by a pro-conservative media company The Victory Group.

How vain was she?

She should become someone that people are interested in first, THEN do the doco.

Actually, if she was that interesting she probably wouldn't have the time to do the doco.

I can't say I am sad at it losing money.
Bah!

They may have made some money if they had a different title:

Everybody thought they had seen it before?

1.6 stars at IMDB, getting slated.
As an Alaskan, I consider this movie a comedy. I could have given it a 10 for that, but the intent was a documentary, therefore, I gave it a low rating. What I find odd is that most documentaries have actual interviews, but this one, used cut and paste of selected dialogue from people who were close to Mrs. Palin. I did not see a good sampling of people on the streets or people who worked with Mrs. Palin who were not part of her buddies. She hired most of her staff from her friends in Wasilla and/or people who were referred by her friends, not in an open way that most employers do. She hired "yes, maam" people, and these are the only ones who are depicted in this film. The person she hired to run the controversial dairy whose only qualification was she "liked cows" is a sampling of Mrs. Palin's CEO abilities. The movie doesn't give the facts about her mayor-ship of Wasilla; she hired a city manager (city of 5,000 population at the time of her election) because she didn't know what to do. She left the city of Wasilla in 21 million dollar debt, whereas before her "CEO" endeavors there was zero debt. Oh, and when the fast growing city needed infrastructure like sewer and water, she built a hockey stadium, and named it after a high school boyfriend.

The way the movie was put together was so insulting to anyone's intelligence, that it had to be a comedy.

DES MOINES — Sarah Palin tantalized supporters on the eve of her appearance at a tea party rally by telling reporters “there’s room for more” candidates in the contest for the Republican presidential nomination. But she gave no hint as to whether she was talking about herself.

The former Alaska governor was mobbed by enthusiastic supporters who chanted, “Run, Sarah, run!” when she arrived at a Des Moines suburb Friday evening. Many had come hundreds or thousands of miles to attend Saturday rally in Indianola and many believe that Palin will become a candidate.

I really wish Palin would run for President. Whether she does or not will determine whether she is extra stupid or just plain stupid.

I would love to see her in some new political debates and interviews during the election season. It would be a nice diversion from the more serious & predictable stuff that always happens when people are running for office.

The old stuff is still very funny but I'm sure she has a lot more material to keep us entertained.

Sarah Palin's husband has jumped to her defence over an upcoming tell-all book that claims she had a premarital fling with a basketball star and dabbled with cocaine.

The allegations in The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin clash with the Tea Party darling's persona as a champion of homespun values - including abstinence from sex before marriage - just as she ponders whether to go for the Republican presidential nomination.

To be published on Tuesday, The Rogue is written by veteran journalist Joe McGinniss, who notoriously rattled the Palins last year when he moved into a house next to their lakeside residence in Alaska as part of his research.
