How Obama won...

Post by Gob »

“People like to switch parties. They thought it would be cool to switch over this time, and they wanted to make history with Obama.”

“The Obama campaign catered to people who didn’t know what to believe. They took social media, and leveraged it, and won the election that way."

“He won due to the color of his skin, without a doubt."

“There was a ton of voter fraud, that’s for sure. There was a big youth movement and the Republicans didn’t do themselves a favor, picking McCain."

“I’ve heard a bunch of different reasons. Some people say it’s because he was black, and everyone wanted to have the historical significance of a black president, after the Civil Rights movement, and what have you."

“He fooled the young people, mostly. He fooled the people looking for an easier way of life, and he made them belief life would be easier, the government would take care of things if he won."

“Obama wasn’t vetted. We didn’t really hear much about him. I think the country, as a whole, was ready for a black president, and he made himself acceptable."

Why did Obama win?
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

He won because the Republicans were in charge from 2001-2008 and their policies caused 8 years of stagnation followed by the worst economic collapse in 80 years. Median income went down for 8 years and then the bottom fell out.

Bad policies created bad outcomes.

McCain whored himself to the hard right and in the process proved that their numbers are too small to elect a president. Now we have 3 Republicans doing the same thing all over again. (Ron Paul is the racist nutcase)

Any democrat would have won because people were ready for a change - any change. Hillary would have won more easily than Barry did, but he "gamed" her in the primaries and caucuses, and got the nomination.

Barry overcame the most flimsy resume of the last century by obscuring his real agenda and taking advantage of white guilt.

McCain was poor candidate, but it is probably better that he lost rather than someone better, who would have lost anyway.

As this campaign year moves forward, the most astounding aspect so far is that it seems like nobody in the N-FM is willing to even talk about Barry's collossal failures, shortcomings, and devious machinations. Hopefully, we can rectify that by November.

Ah, right, the "colossal failure" which really means "not being Republican".

Despite some misgivings, I plan to be motivated by my white guilt into voting again for the black Muslim Democrat community organizer.
