I don't believe the kinds of activities recounted in the article in the OP are covered by the 1st amendment....Ahem; what about that pesky 1st amendment?

As someone who is currently unemployed and not collecting UI (they don't seem to want to pay out when you're employer fires you for blowing a .24 while driving their van) I still do not relate to the attitude of these people. They want it all, want it now and don't want to work for it. Heck, I've applied to Lowes, HD, Walmart and many other places just to be able to bring in any money. I've applied to go back to being an electrical technician (haven't had that "title" since 1988). I'm going to do what I have to. It's like my wife and I are starting out as newlyweds again. No money and having to do scrape by and do all repairs and upgrades ourselves while spending as little as possible. Only thing in our favor this time is children are not on hte way and are not planned in the future.
