Cruz scares me more because he is a politician and may not piss as many in congress of as the Donald would and might get some of his agenda through. Neither would be a good choice, but Trump just edges Cruz out. Then again, we'll get what we deserve.

As is frequently the case, the biggest bullies are also the biggest cry babies:

Subdued Trump emerges from caucus finish, says he deserves more credit from media and voters

A subdued Donald Trump broke his past-caucus silence, taking to Twitter Tuesday to say he’s still proud of his second-place showing in Iowa a day before, and saying he’s not getting enough credit for his unique campaign.

He said he was a “long-shot” candidate in Iowa, making his 24 percent of the vote — more than 45,000 votes in total, which would have easily been enough to win any previous caucus — all the more of a victory.

He also hinted at potential regret that he’s spending his own money and declining to solicit contributions.

“I don’t believe I have been given any credit by the voters for self-funding my campaign, the only one,” he said in a Twitter message posted just before noon. “I will keep doing, but not worth it!”

His five posts broke a 20-hour silence on his usually active account. And the tone of the new posts was defensive, lacking the bravado that had characterized his campaign before. He did not once mention his ubiquitous campaign slogan to “make America great again.”

Mr. Trump, a first-time candidate, had entered Iowa with high expectations, having led in polling there in recent weeks. And he made good on his vow to turn out new voters, drawing what would have been a record first-place finish in any previous year.

But Sen. Ted Cruz did even better, winning more than 51,000 votes to garner 28 percent of the overall vote. And Sen. Marco Rubio trailed closely behind Mr. Trump, some 2,000 votes behind, which was 23 percent of the caucus total.

Poor little Donnie Wonnie...

He just doesn't get enough credit and appreciation from those meanies in the press and the ungrateful voters...

All this lack of appreciation will have a serious effect on his self-esteem and delicate ego..I really feel for the guy.

I wonder how Donald The Whiner will go over with all those mesmerized by Donald The Winner...

He's attacking Cruz also...
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is taking issue with the results of Monday's Iowa caucuses, accusing contest winner Ted Cruz of fraud.

In attacks posted on his official Twitter account Wednesday, Trump says "either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified."

A previous tweet posted by the billionaire businessman accused the Cruz campaign of telling Iowa voters that Ben Carson was quitting the race so he could steal Carson votes.

Trump came in second behind Cruz in Monday's leadoff Iowa caucuses — which he had previously described on Twitter as a "long-shot great finish."

Cruz picks Trump as his Veep. Trump is secretly angered by this but accepts with ulterior motive. Two months into his reign presidency Cruz dies under mysterious circumstances and Trump takes over. Six months later I go to my ATM and discover my card will not allow a withdrawal without my husband's permission....

Tump's strategy, plain and simple, is to dominate the news, which often means saying stupid and outrageous things. Any time the story moves away from him, he goes for it. The Cruz cheated, etc. bulla bulla is just more media manipulation to turn the attention back to Trump. As long the media plays along, he will keep doing it.

And the reason why Cruz is so dishonest - because he's Canadian, of course.

Apparently this:

is not going to be any sort of guide for Trump in foreign policy, even as it relates to longstanding allies.

Is it any wonder that the parliaments of some of those longstanding allies have debated motions about excluding him from their countries should he ever manage to be elected president?

Trump is infinitely better than Cruz, he's a Democrat at heart after all!

Rubio's strong showing is a pleasant happening. I could tolerate him as President, unlikely as it is that the R will win.
