Not too sure how you managed to get to your advanced age without any handyman skills whatsoever
Well, I didn't want to say this, because it sounds kind of snobby...

But now you've forced me into it...

Because I learned how to make enough money to be able to pay other people to do it.... 8-)

Trumpty in first, and Marco and Ted fighting for second....

Kasich doing okay...his expectations were low, so this wont knock him out...

Jeb is Dead Man Walking.... :?

And Ben Carson is beyond Dead Man Walking...

He's completely dead, but he just doesn't have the sense to lie down...

I hope Cruz ends up in 3rd (lower would have been even better). The more I see him the more I want to punch him in the face, kick him in the head and throw him into a chipper/shredder.

I actually felt sorry for Jeb when I saw his last speech. It seems that the voters did not beat around the bush and instead they just plain beat Bush into obscurity.

Well, apparently, Jeb has left the building....

It's too bad, he's a gracious, qualified, intelligent man... he would have made an excellent President...

But not in this cycle...

We're down to Marco and John...

Unless you'd prefer Trumpty or Tail Gunner Ted...

Ted does have that kind of affect... 8-)

If you want to feed Ted Cruz into a wood chipper, you're going to have to take a number and stand in line...

For starters, there are 99 members of the US Senate ahead of you...

And on an aside mentioned a couple of times above, I would not recommend a new Craftsman brand anything. It is not what it was 20 years ago, or even 5 years ago. Most Craftsman tools now are barely guaranteed til you get beyond the door of the store. Sears Holding Company just tries to keep the bankers from locking the doors. Customer and product quality is way off the radar.

The more I think about it, the more disgusted I become to see a class act like Jeb Bush forced to leave the race while a toxic, hate and fear pandering douche bag like Donald Trump rides high...

A sad day for my party, and a sad day for my country...

But I refuse to fall into complete despair just yet...

Burning Petard is absolutely correct about the degradation of the quality of Sears hard goods. I took an OLD ratchet in a while back. They didn't have new guts for it, which has been their more recent "fix". They exchanged it for me for one of their Chinese made ratchets. I'm sure it will break. I don't know if they will give me another.

I spent five minutes to find it. Look here more quickly: http://community.cartalk.com/discussion ... ler#latest

The discussion turned to the Mantis.

Try doing a craigslist search for Mantis and see what pops up wes. I searched for Stihl to find a really good weed eater and chainsaw.

My husband's job is white collar but he is the handiest of handymen. He has a rare genius for taking things apart and putting them together again. He got so excited when I gave him a defunct oxygen concentrator from work. He had the thing apart within a half hour of me bringing it home and was telling me things about how it works. Meanwhile he is using some of the parts for something. It's well beyond me. Men like this are keepers. I recommend ladies looking for gentlemen to date stay off dating sites and stay away from bars. Go instead to Harbor Freight, Lowes or Menards and scope the men out there.

That sounds like a good idea @TPFKA@W. I'll have to tell my daughter.

Mrs Mc swears she married me because I fixed her car. I think it was the microwave and Cessna. Oh well, I still have her.

I think a lot of men who claim to be unhandy are in the same mindset as the ladies who play volleyball with long nails and their eyes closed. "See. I told you I wasn't good at this!"
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I'm somewhat on Lord Jim's side on this.

I am now financially able to pay someone to repair what's needed than to fcuk around doing it myself.

I don't have to worry about having the correct tools, needed parts, and not finding out that midway into the job- - - - that it was going to more of a b!tch than I had thought.

Those days are LONG GONE!

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Sears/caftsman pretty much suck now. I broke a10mm socket that I had for 20+years (and used a lot) and got a replacement that broke thesecond time I used it. Baught a power washer a few years ago and right out of the box the thing spurted water out of places I didn't think water should be near. I have a craftsman tractor from 1996 which is in great shape and runs well. Nice that I can still get parts but I don't think I would buy a new one from sears.

And I could afford to have others do the work for me, but I enjoy it and am competent at it.

And I did spend sunday at the daughters. Her kitchen sink was not draining well. What I htought would be a simple job has now turned into a semi-major job of replacing the whole kitchen drain line. The old galvanized pipes are decaying. Broke through the side of a drain pipe while snaking the lines. Patched that up and this weekend will be replacing it all with pvc piping. Still doesn't drain right but that's because a bunch of rust/gunk has formed a "dam" inside the pipe that refuses to breakup despite my attemps with the snake.

And I don't look down on people who do not do their own repairs. It's just seems "odd" to me, but then again, I was raised as a DIYer, as my dad and his dad both were.
