I wouldn't vote for the hildabeast even with a gun held to my head.
And I wouldn't vote for Donald Trump with 2 guns held to my head.

How many guns to your head are needed to get you to vote for someone?

Re: How I'm Going To Bring Myself To Vote For Hillary Clinto
I saw one poll discussed today that said about half the people who said they were gonna vote for (Hillery) (Trump) were doing because they wanted to vote against (Trump) (Hillery)
So just who do they really want for president?
The USA system, that is reported with so much confusion in this primary campaign, need a modernization. The news media report "A" won the state, when "A" may have only received a plurality and many of the convention delegates are selected outside the primary system. Yet it is still called ". . . won the primary!"
Actual serious consideration should be given to some kind of weighted voting system. One man, one vote? What does it mean when most do not vote at all?

Fortunately, this is the last year for that. Next time around instead of "primary", each event will be called a "crash"Burning Petard wrote: The news media report "A" won the state, when "A" may have only received a plurality and many of the convention delegates are selected outside the primary system. This election cycle has suffered from an over abundance of "democracy" and direct participation by the great unwashed in the decision making process...

How I'm Going To Bring Myself To Vote For Hillary Clinton...
On the first Tuesday after the first Monday in June in a presidential election year I propose having a "National Primary Election Day."
Starting on January 1st in that same election year, any and all candidates who have completed the process to become a bona fide candidate is then allowed to tour the country espousing their personal political reality and/or idealism.
On NPED all candidates return to home base and await the final tally to see who becomes the nominee for their chosen party -- Dem, Repub, Socialist, Libertarian, Green, Trumpist, etc.
Before the end of July all parties must complete their party's national convention which establishes their VP nominee and solidifies their platform and agenda. And then they go off sowing their genetically modified seeds of peace, love, and Utopia among the clamoring masses in each state.
On Election Day in November all nominees return to their local polls and await the results while attending their election-night watch party.
And the rest is history.

Well Jim, this should make you fell much better about tossing your vote to the beast:

I know it makes me feel confident hearing that her closest aids refer to her as "often confused".

The email was written when she was suffering from a concussion. Confusion is a normal symptom of that condition, but yes, please let's take the email out of context and make sweeping conclusions because of it.

Re: How I'm Going To Bring Myself To Vote For Hillary Clinto
LJ thanks for an action of integrity. Too little of that around these days (and equally rare in left and right camps if those labels mean anything any more). If I voted (I am not a citizen) I too would hold my nose and vote for that pinko HRC.
I may have told this before elsewhere, but an economist friend once told about the two ice cream sellers on a long beach. In the good old days there was one seller, and he stood at the midpoint of the beach and everyone had to come to him. One day a competitor showed up, and they (probably reluctantly) established posts at 25% and 75% to command half the beach each. Until one them (25%) decided that if he sneaked along to (say) 40% he could pick up everyone from 0% to 57.5%. (There, I've done the maths for you. You're welcome.) Pretty soon Mr 75% realizes what is going on and heads for the middle ground. They end up standing at 49.9 and 50.1.
Moral: life's a beach.

Yes, I am here with more smears, innuendo, and name-calling. Trump is a super salesman who could sell ice to Eskimos. "The Art of the Deal" is his essential life. The actual product involved is irrelevant. He could not care less about the success or value or quality after the deal.. That is the problem for other minions to take care of. Truth, facts, actual costs, are all irrelevant. That is all somebody else's problem after sale is made.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/com ... ment_pop_b This link is to an essay on why Trump will be elected from two months ago. it strikes me as even more true today.
Next spring there will be the biggest epidemic of buyer's remorse the world has ever seen.
