Proportional electoral votes would be a lot more equitable; maybe if enough states agree we'll have that one day.

I didn't think there was much chance of her actually doing that, (I still think it's not likely) but if she picks Warren she will be saying to all the moderate independents and anti-Trump Republicans, "Fuck you, I don't want your votes"...

I give Warren props and applause for the way she needles Trump and gets under his skin, and I hope she keeps it up...

But I certainly do not want her a heart beat away from the Presidency. The only worse pick I can imagine would be Sanders. Her understanding of economics is on a par with rubato's, she's a strident class warfare demagogue, and worst of all an extreme dove on defense and national security.

Completely unacceptable; Warren shouldn't be within a hundred miles of The Oval Office.

As I said, I still think it's very unlikely, even though she is supposedly on the "short list" and is being vetted by the campaign, (I suspect this, like the joint campaign appearance yesterday, is just for show to please the Sanders crowd)

A poll came out a couple of days ago that showed Sanders supporters are now behind Clinton by 81-9 over Trump. Hillary doesn't need Warren on the ticket to consolidate the left-wing base of her party behind her against Trump...

On the other hand, she'll risk losing a much larger tranche of potential votes she could get among moderates and unhappy Republicans if she picks that fiercely partisan leftist firebrand for her running mate.

I strongly suspect that Clinton and her team are fully aware of these facts and that ultimately she'll go with someone far more broadly acceptable, like Tim Kaine.
I've learned never to say never, not, or won't in this election cycle, but I truly don't think it will be Warren. I don't want it to be her, either. We need her bat in the Senate more than the WH, plus I do think there is a chance of the Dems re-taking control and picking someone who's replacement will be appointed by a Republican governor is a bad idea. That also leaves out Sherrod Brown and Corey Booker (my personal first choice). Julian Castro or Anthony Brown or Tim Kaine. It all depends on who she is most comfortable with.
