well, sue, I appreciate your badly reasoned argument.

Then perhaps you'd like to explain how "social media sites are public forums, ... [to which] free speech and association must apply." Or what you think "a new anti trust push" is, how it should be applied, who you think would actually undertake such a campaign and why "anti-trust" is somehow even relevant to the issue.

Or you could just admit you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

ETA:

And by the way, I haven't made any argument that you could even say might be "badly reasoned." I've just pointed out that your claims are, as usual, complete twaddle.

Oh, you were thinking wes might actually respond to the specific points you made...

I responded to BP.

sue over complicates things, as lawyers are wont to do......

I will say that it seems funny for a "socialist" to be supporting big tech....

it is all about control, methinks.

ulterior motives, methinks.....

social engineering.

big bro.

liberty is a dirty word.

the people are not worthy.

her arguments as to the unlimited extent of the internet only reinforce my beliefs that it should be considered a public arena, beholden to our constitutional protections.

jim, on the other hand, has a hard row to hoe......

he has abandoned our constitution, and indeed has criticized it being invoked in argument....

that is why he lost his party.

sad.

the ends justify the means.

jim has become a good little member of a new party.

he has become a pawn, witting or unwitting, in putin s game of destruction, of division, of deceit.

he is intellectually dishonest in order to destroy what he cannot fathom.

destroy trump. destroy the people s power, destroy our republic.

take your thirty rubles and go.

consultants are a dime a dozen these days.

sad.

I'll agree with wes on this one.
Oh, wait a minute; he means liberty, the concept  Image — not liberty, the poster Image
Never mind.
wesw wrote:destroy trump
Of course.  Trump and his supporters are like an infestation of termites, eating away at the support and structural members of this country.  And the only way to deal with termites is to exterminate them.

Or in the case of Stormy Daniels, your 130,000 rubles.
But hey!  At least she got her money — which is something a lot of people who have had business dealings with The Donald cannot say.

For which Trump should be eternally grateful.  He's gone through how many dozen already??

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Oh my...

So much madcap hilarity, so little time...
he has abandoned our constitution
This from a guy who said that shutting down a major cable news network would "strengthen" the First Amendment...

Wes, there is no evidence from anything you have posted that you have even bothered to read the Constitution, much less that you have even the most basic understanding of what it means...

It would be tempting to say that you know nothing about the Constitution, but your situation is actually worse than that...

You have picked up a whole bunch of misinformation, which when combined with your ignorance of what the document actually says and means, has led you to conclude that you really know something when in fact everything you think you know is wrong...

sad...

jim has become a good little member of a new party.

he has become a pawn, witting or unwitting, in putin s game of destruction, of division, of deceit.

he is intellectually dishonest in order to destroy what he cannot fathom.
Here we have a classic example of wes trying to employ one of his hero's go to tactics...

Have the sheer shameless audacity to accuse your opponent, (with absolutely bugger all to back it up) of precisely those things which you yourself are guilty of ... (for which there is a bounty of proof)

(I don't know whether you're a "witting" an "unwitting" pawn wes, so I'll just split the difference and call you a "half witting pawn"... 8-) )

sadder...
consultants are a dime a dozen these days.
Mindless Trump sycophants are about a dime a gross, so it's a good job you're not trying to market those skills...

I fully understand why you are posting the nonsense you're posting, wes. Deep down you know you've been snookered, and trying to defend what on some level you realize is completely indefensible is creating enormous cognitive dissonance for you...

This is generating intense frustration, and you are trying to relieve that by lashing out at those who keep pointing out the facts to you...

saddest...

....or maybe you just like the perks......, like manafort......, and Hillary.....

Yep...

It's a lot easier than actually trying to defend or justify this serial cluster fuck pseudo-presidency he supports...

Which he (understandably) can't manage to do...

Not even close. Astaire has so much more grace and more substance.

It’s closer to the flailing of Jerry Lewis.

You're right...

That comparison is very unfair to Fred; he was a superb tap dancer...arguably the greatest ever...

This is much more appropriate:
