Tangent alert:
In what way was Anita Hill slandered? To "slander" is to falsely accuse a person of some misdeed. Who slandered Anita Hill? What false statements were made about her?
The back story about how she was coerced into testifying is fairly well known (to news junkies), but I'm not sure what relevance that has. More relevant is, what, exactly, was she accusing Clarence Thomas of? Making her mildly uncomfortable? Making inappropriate jokes? If it was "sexual harrassment," it was such a mild form of it that it had absolutely no negative impact on anything. Indeed, she obviously considered herself a friend and protege of Thomas long after the episodes in question.
And as for Thomas' reputation on the Court, it is only in the minds of delusional, racist libs that he is considered anything other than a fine jurist. His opinions are gogent, relevant, readable, and compelling.
