That would be Senator Warren to you, buster.
Let me elaborate a bit on my view about Warren...

I do not see any significant difference between her and people like Richard Mourdock.. (who long before he made a fool out of himself over abortion, said that the way he defined "compromise" was for the folks who disagreed with him to vote the way he wanted them to.)

I well recall the debate Warren had with Brown that was moderated by David Gregory, where Gregory asked her to name Republican members of the Senate that she thought she could work with....

The only name she could come up with was Dick Lugar, who of course was no longer going to be in the Senate...

The record will show that I have been unsparing in my criticism of strident, shrill, "compromise is a dirty word" types in my own party; I have equal disdain for those types in The Party Opposite....

ETA:

I have nothing but contempt for strident uncompromisers, whether I largely agree with their positions, or largely disagree with their positions. I see strident uncompromisers as being at the heart of what has made our government so dysfunctional...We would be far better off if none of them were in office....

(There does seem to be a small glimmer of hope in the Senate at least; we now have bipartisan groups working on both gun violence and illegal immigration; I truly hope something good comes of their efforts, and that this approach might serve as a template for tackling other issues)

Exactly what facts do you have that Senator Warren refuses to compromise? Since she has been a Senator for about a month, I'm thinking absolutely none . . .

As for the MA Republicans, they continue to run scared -- Bill Weld just said no, and there was talk of scraping up Tagg Romney, or even Anne. It looks like the most likely candidate now is Kerry "Muffy" Healy.

My guess is that Bill Weld is more scared of the Republicans than the Democrats.

He would have a better chance in Moscow.

Any state that would elect Squaw Warren is not worth representing.

Fortunate the perpetual campaigns for Senate are stimulating the Massachusetts economy.

The lack of interest by the Rs in the seat is becoming comedic. Muffy said no yesterday, and the latest and greatest are these two potential candidates:

1 - Dan Winslow, a state senator (one of four or so Rs in the state senate), former judge, former legal counsel to Mittens, a man with a mouth and a 'tude, and yes, he is one of the Mayflower Winslows.

2 - Gabriel Gomez, a businessman and former Navy SEAL who couldn't get elected to Selectman in his town (one of the most conservative and wealthy in the Commonwealth).

Scott Brown, who surprised the political world with his upset victory in the 2010 special election, announced Friday afternoon that he will not enter the special election to replace John F. Kerry.

“I was not at all certain that a third Senate campaign in less than four years, and the prospect of returning to a Congress even more partisan than the one I left, was really the best way for me to continue in public service at this time,” Brown said in a statement. “And I know it’s not the only way for me to advance the ideals and causes that matter most to me.”

Brown’s announcement was unusual. Rather than a formal press conference or statement, he initially released the news to the Boston Herald in a text message that said “U are the first to know.” His spokesman later confirmed the news to the Globe in a text that read “Not running.”

The full statement was released later.
(I think rather than run and lose again, he's going to keep his powder dry and run for Governor in 2014)
Or maybe, just maybe, he didn't want to put himself and his family through four elections in four years! I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Well, maybe rube.
