Unless Slick Hillie is indicted for mishandling classified information, ( Much as John Deutsch was...her husband Pardoned him) I don't see any way she pulls out of the race before the delegate selection process begins, no matter what her standings in the polls...

She's got a ton of cash, and a huge fundraising apparatus and organizational ground game...

She could lose in both Iowa and New Hampshire, and easily rebound...

Especially vis a vis Sanders, who despite all his popularity with white liberals, (that dominate the delegate selection process in those two states) has not been able to break into Hillary's support among minority voters (especially African Americans) that are much more important in the Demo nominating process in later contests...

(Though he has room to grow his support amongst those voters; all the polling I've seen that shows him with low minority voter support for the nomination also show him with 40-50% that fall into the either "don't know or "no opinion" category...)

On top of all of this, there is of course the fact that there is no person in America who wants to be POTUS more than Hillary Rodham Clinton...

Barring an indictment or mathematical elimination based on the delegate count, you couldn't pry her out of this race with The Jaws Of Life...

An eternity ago, (by which of course I mean last March or April) I considered the odds of her nomination a virtual metaphysical certitude....

99.999% repeating...

Now, even with all the reversals she has suffered, I still consider her to be the odds on favorite for the Demo nomination (again, barring an indictment):

With Biden in the race, I'd rate it a 70% likelihood for Hillary to take the nomination, 20% chance for Joe, and 10% for Comrade Sanders...

Without Biden in the race, I make it a 75% likelihood for Her Royal Clintoness, and I'll give Sanders an outside one in four chance...

(Which is a lot more than I ever expected him to have...)

I'm at the point where I just am not sure that HRC and her puppeteers are all that different from whatever Republican is nominated and his/her puppeteers. If Bernie got the nomination, I'd vote as many times as I could get away with; I'm just feeling like it really is a lesser of two evils system, and I fully expect with HRC as president we will see a repeat of the tactics that have been utilized against Obama by the Republicans - who cares about the country or its citizens, we must just destroy this president's legacy as much as possible, whatever the cost.

It is hard for me to recall that I was once a political science major with great interest and enthusiasm for the process.
