he looked fit for a straightjacket to me.
Thanks for posting that wes, you reminded of one I forgot to include...

When you support the most mentally unstable President in American history, you lose all credibility to question the mental fitness of someone else...

I'm trying to recall the last time I saw Donald Trump speak for any prolonged period of time when he didn't look "fit for a straight jacket"...

...

...

Nope, sorry, I got nothin'...

If you would like to have your opinion taken seriously when you opine about somebody's mental stability I would suggest that you could start by no longer being a slavish devotee of the biggest lunatic to ever occupy the Oval Office...

Internal GOP Poll: Pelosi Beats Trump in a Head-to-Head Matchup

President Trump likes to mock Nancy Pelosi, but a private survey conducted for the Republican National Committee finds that she’s actually more popular—and beats the president when the midterm election is framed as a contest between the two.

The internal poll, conducted by Public Opinion Strategies and obtained by Bloomberg Businessweek, asks registered voters who they support “when the November election is framed by Trump and Pelosi.” Overall, respondents prefer Pelosi-aligned candidates over Trump-aligned candidates by 5 points, 50 percent to 45 percent. Among independents only, Pelosi still prevails by a 4-point margin. The poll was completed on Sept. 2.

My wife just informed me that she will be needing my Vic on Election Day-both of her vehicles being totally impractical for bringing people to polls.

Hmmm, 3 million less than voted for Clinton, pretty good starting point for flipping the House.

You'd vote for Bart Simpson if he ran on the GOP ticket.

Oh wait, you already did that.

I remember that Hillary's loss came down to about 100,000 votes in three states. And that now Democrats are up 11 points on generic Congressional ballot. And that Nancy Pelosi is more popular than Lord Dampnut, which is saying a lot about the coattails he will (not) have in a few weeks.

Apparently wes is still smarting because he didn't get invited to Kim and Kanye's KKK fundraiser.

The guests were served Oreo cookie ice cream sundaes and Putin's favorite flavour of koolaid.

Apparently wes is back hooked on opiates. The attempt at gay porn true confessions should have been a dead giveaway.

I don't really care whether Trump is impeached and disgraced, or just made as ineffective as possible, voted out in 2020 and he gets to live out his retirement with his fortune intact. I just want him gone. Impeachment without an assurance of 2/3 of the Senate is pointless and probably counter-productive, and those of us who supported Clinton's indefensible behavior in 1998 bear part of the blame. The major grievance I have with Trump is not his despicable personal character which was well known to the electorate in 2016, but his sheer and total incompetence. Michael Lewis's The Fifth Risk is a far more terrifying read that Bob Woodward's Fear, because it dwells on this. Even the economy: of course it's doing well, for now. So too would my personal economy pick up if I were to remortgage the house and buy a Maserati and replenish my aging stock of power tools. In essence, that's what Trump and his tax reforms have done.

A Democratic majority in the House looks very likely after November; and there may even be more Ds than Rs in the Senate. But there will never be enough in the Senate to give the 2/3 necessary for a conviction unless Mueller or Cohen or New York State come up with unequivocal evidence of high crimes and/or misdemeanors that cannot, by any stretch of a fertile Trumpanzee imagination, be blamed on politics. In many ways I'd rather wait until 2020 than impeach the guy and best (??????) case is we get Pence. In three months it will be 2 years into this (mal)Administration, and Pence could take over and get 10 years total as President.

Be careful what you wish for.

He doesn't need to be impeached, just castrated, which is what a Dem House majority will do.

Here's a link to track the likelihood of a Dem takeover of the House based on the latest polling and probability modeling...(fivethrityeight.com, is one of the two...along with realclearpolitics.com...go-to sources for hardcore political junkies) You can also check out the Senate and governors races:

You mean a caravan like with camels, tents, and harems, or a caravan like a dodge minivan? And this is a harbinger of a republican victory? Interesting what you use in place of polls backed by at least some science and math.
